I know most Marshalls have 16-ohm speaker outputs, I know you can use an 8-ohm cab with no problem, but what if I want to use two 8-ohm cabs which essentially drops the ohms down to 4? I may have a lead on a cheap TSL60, but I'd really like to use my pair of 8-ohm Jackson 2x12 cabs with it. What kind of problem would this present?

Re: Using two 8-ohm cabinets with a Marshall?
Well, I haven't actually seen the amp, but according to the manual I downloaded from Marshall's site, it's got a selector to switch between 8 and 16 ohms.
It says for 1x16 ohm speaker = 16 ohms output, 2x16 ohm speaker = 8 ohm output, 1x8 ohm speaker = 8 ohm output.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
