  • Which processor do you use with your 5150.

I really feel its time to upgrade my processor. My Digitech RD14 sucks the tone from my amp. Anybody who owns the 5150 knows that the effects loop is touchy, due the the fact that it operates and hi-z (Instrument Level).
    Damn, I love this Interweb.

The only luck I have ever had with a 5150 regarding effects was using stomp boxes.

Yeah, I was thinking that might be the route. I was leaning toward the G Major but from what I understand they have different impedance ratings.

Gmajor works perfectly fine in the loop of my 5150. clean, clear, and doesnt obstruct the tone

I was hoping someone would say that. I really don't want to make the effort to purchase one just to find out that it will not work with my amp. Did you have to tweak the input out put settings or does it just work fine out of the box?

I used plenty of rack stuff when I used 5150s. Ran two heads and a stereo rack. Worked pretty well I felt.
