I would think outside you will need a little help for the bottom end. Don't crank it by any means, you can still crush your bassist outside, but I think the Marshall may sound too thin...

(Take somebody else's input that's actually played outside with these amps before over mine!)

well, call me weird, but on both open airs i had the bass cranked (engl as well as marshall) [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] those are not bottom heavy amps, remember. i don't need excessive low end, just enough to make the sound full and punchy. basically, i played a triple rectifier (3ch) once, and even at a loud bedroom volume i couldn't get the bass past like 1030 without having too much (remember that was at bedroom volume. live on stage it will be less)
