line 6 spider vs marshall avt

hey everyone i just bought a line 6 spider 212 and im very happy with it. before that i had a marshall avt 50, i liked the sound and everything but you couldnt do much with it, the clean has bass and treble and no midd, the distortion was great but i would always have to use a eq to get the sound i wanted, it had 1 12,fx loop and reverb thats about it. the spider has 2 12s, 100 more watts then the avt, cool effects, the tone is so good i sold my boss eq. these two amps are the same price that is also why im comparing them so if your planning to buy one of these two amps i recomend the line 6 you wont regret it.
this only my opinion so if you know something i dont let me know

and a HUGE fan of old Marshall..

I'd bet my sack and a few of yours ...The line 6 would eat it..

The line 6 is really getting their shit and their tones together..to the point of where I may eventualy consider one..

bought the boy a 30 wt spyder...I love practicing with it..it sounds great!

Marshalls on the other hand...are going down faster than Anna Nicole Smith on a rich senoir citizen .

I never played an avt but the spider 30 is a great little amp for its price,it has to be also much more versatile than any marshall.Imho the Marshall company has to put their shit togheter, yesterday I was at a local band show,one guitarist had a little jcm800 and the other played a jcm2000 half stack....well...it was totally buried by the little jcm800 and the sound was pretty bad too.Oh,the ,little Jaymz wannabe played an import kelly and I met a german metalhead and I gave him the demo of my band!(received the cds last week!) Have to rip some song and upload it,but I'm a bit bored about it cos here in the country house where I am in the summer I just have a 56k.....what the hell...now that's off topic! The AVT50 I had was good on clean and highly usable in the gain dept. I thought it was real good, but not pantie droppin' bad ass.

My Flextone II is pretty good, spider has got to be close and versatile too!
