Where the best and least expensive place to buy a Quaret of matched 6L6 tubes? Its for a 100 watt Fuchs Moded Fender amp that UPS delivered and shattered all the power tubes !

Can't do my post and paste, but go to E-Bay and check out the quad of Peavey 6l6's. Just type in 6l6. These may do the trick. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

If you are in Minneapolis, go to Savage Audio. They not only make great amps, but service all brands as well. This way you will get the right tubes for your sound.

I have had good results at www.tubestore.com.
I have 8 SED Winged C tubes in my Triaxis and I think they sound great.

That sucks dude! All of that impatient waiting for the UPS dude and they're shattered. Nothing would piss me off more. Oh, the humanity!

I understand what it's like waiting for the UPS guy too. The second he pulls in the driveway you're in the back of the truck digging through shit trying to find your stuff before he even comes to a stop!

Good luck on getting the amp fixed. Perhaps try FedEx this time?
