Hughes and Kettner Metal Shredder

Anyone own one or ever owned one? I bought it about a year ago, and its a blast. Sounds awesome through a 4x12. Any history on them?

I remember them as a cool little tube pre-amp back in the late 80s early 90s. Supposed to be cool, but I never got to play with one. Too bad!
