Well i only have two amps. A Roland VGA-3 and a JCM900. My JCM 900 is used live and in band practices but my Roland gets more play time because i can't use my JCM900 at home.

Don't have a #1 right now... But the JCM 800 2204 with KT88's that I just picked up is godly sounding with a booster in front of it.

5150! But all I've got to hold me over is an XT Live through a Randall cab. Not a bad setup, but nothing'll never come close to the 5150 in my head

boogie Mark IV. Best amp tone ive EVER gotten i love it soo much theres so much you can do with it. Through a marshall 1960 cab. Aint much as far as other accesories, the markIV takes care of all the metal and thrash i ever need :-D

my main rig is the powerball into the splawn 4x12 cab (seen below)...next up for me i tink will be a splawn quick rod though to add the the collection...

My main amp for rehearsal and shows is my Blue Voodoo BV120 head with a Peavey Butcher 412 loaded with Celestion G12K85s, and I don't care what anyone says, it sounds great.

At home, I mainly use my Randall RGT100 head with my custom built (by me) 412 cab loaded with Madison G12K85s.

My main amp is a Crate VFX212. All tube EL34 powered 212 combo with built in DSP. I just run that on clean and run pedals into it. I get anyting from a Fender clean to a Raging Mesa tone. Depending on the pedals im runnin at the time. Its killer and does a very respectable allbeit higher gain brown sound. the higher gain part was my idea. I just love the first VH album tone but i need more gain to hide my mistakes cus i suck. lol

XSSIVE..what's up with those Splawn cabs dude (?? loaded with)..are they worthy of the hype..compared to what I use Marshall 1960B ..or a Recto Cab..tell me without bias. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I'm content with My Uber on a 1960b...but would this be better..a Uberkab is loaded with Vin 30's I believe which I'm not fond of?

I keep hearing good tings about Splawns..

Engl Fireball into Genz Benz G-Flex 2-12. Also have a line 6 spider 1-12 75watt for low volume playing at home.The line 6 sounds good till I play the fireball, then it sounds not so good.

Bill, the Celestion 85s are fucking awesome. They can handle anything an amp head can throw out. They never flub out with too much bass. They don't break up when you're playing clean. They are just a great speaker for metal. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
