"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
well, here's some pics of my current amp set up. not pictured is my 4x12, which is kept at the rehearsal studio.
my main amp is the bottom rivera head. it's a 1990 S-120. it has 60 watts X 2 in true stereo. it has stereo chorus and a stereo effects loop. i can run each separate power amp in pentode or triode (usually i do one of each). it has two line outs which is great for sending a signal to another amp. i can do a wet/dry setup using this head.
the other rivera is a 1990 M-100. it's used as a slave from the S-120. the cab underneath the two heads is a 2x10 stereo cab. the other two rivera cabs are 1x12s with EVM12L speakers. each power amp of the S-120 gets 1 12" speaker and 1 10" speaker. it sounds really nice.
the fender amp on top of the 1x12s is a 1963 tremolux. it's pre-CBS and sounds beautiful. i use a sansamp classic in front of it for some overdrive. the sansamp combined with the tube tremolo sounds really sweet.
the little brown marshall is an AS50R. it's an acoustic amp. i use it with my brian moore. i can send the piezo pickup to the acoustic channel and the guitar synth to the other channel.
the peavey bass amp underneath get the line out from the AS50R. the signal is crossed over 800HZ, so all that comes out is the low bass, which gives the brian moore's acoustic and synth sounds MUCH more depth. pianos and organs rumble on the lows more like real pianos and organs.
it's a pain to take to gigs, but it's worth it!!!
oh yeah, the soldano is an astroverb. i use it for classic rock jams and recording sessions. i have also been known to A/B it with the fender for my fusion gigs. but not too often because the rivera does EVERYTHING i want an amp to do.
GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
1986 Mesa Boogie Mark III SimluClass shorthead into a Mesa Recto cab. Disregard the Metaltronix M-1000 on top of it, it was a project.
Anyways, I love my setup!!

The Mark series are awesome. Unfortunately I'm going to have to sell my IIC+ once it gets back from Mesa, because I am in some financial trouble due to my constant G.A.S. attacks amongst other things . Hopefully my Mark III and Cameron Marshall will keep me occupied.
