New Behringer Boss pedal clones

I bought a bunch of them. I checked their specs and except for some manufacturing differences.. they look to be VERY similar if not identical electronically to the Boss counterparts. I will post a full review on these less than $30.00 pedals when I receive them.

it wouldn't surprise me to hear that they are identical. behringer has been sued in the past for infringement.

Offshore assemby? I don't get it. Haven't the Boss pedals been made in Taiwan for years? You know, Taiwan, the Republic of CHINA?

Sorry I implied that was "different" from the other manufacture process.

How about "the Behringer is "also" offshore assembly"

I will do a component by component comparison. I wouldn't be surprised if they were identical inside with only the case being different.

Same here. Other places that mentioned these pedals were pretty merciless about the whole "infringement" thing and how they were a rip off.

No reviews though, oddly enough. Look forward to hearing!

When they first released pictures of these things the case weren't even different.

the boss delay was what I was gonna buy anyway. oooh....i'll take a copycat anyday. I really like my Vamp so I have faith in behringer.

Boss (Roland) sold the rights to the design. That is why Behringer can make such close copies and get away with it.
