  • Boss DS-1 curcuity anatomy

    Hi!

Can anyone help me with some info on this DS-1 compact pedal?

I'm asking for detailed info of essential parts on circuity (e. g. what's on distortion and tone pots that make them behave like it, what makes the distorted sound, what could add more gain with additional soldering modifications etc.).

    Thanks! I appreciate it.

You are asking some pretty heavy questions. There are mods that can be done to the DS-1 but most modders will not share them. It involves changing the chip and the chip carrier, some resistors and a few caps. The pots all remain.
