Mmm, I should have tried one out when I had the chance. A olcal music store here had a few of them. I'd like to hear for myself how bad they are, assuming this isn't just bandwaggoning.

Here's the real Krank question: Who's bankrolling the company? It has a huge manufacturing space, a big advertising budget, a bunch of endorsees, an expensive product line, etc. Who is fronting the money for a company that doesn't seem to move a lot of product?

It does seem funny that they have such a growing endorsees list since noone has anything good to say about them that isn't a paid advertiser. The only time I've seen one in person was one of the guitarists from Sworn Enemy using a revolution. I can't say it sounded horrid, but definitely not a sound I would want to use. It did sound a hell of a lot like old Jeff Hanneman though (all this guy's leads sounded like Slayer studies too).

But you can only polish a turd so much.

I don't have an opinion on Krank as I've never played one... *but* the clips I've heard have been good, and the Nevermore album sounds pretty decent.

I know they said Recto and Krank but if they are paid they will say whatever...All I know is I definately hear 5150 and XXX tones on that disc and there they are in Sneaps studio. May be the Krank sounds like one or the other but the amp pix are from that recording session.

I played one fo the revolution heads a couple weeks ago and i thought it was pretty descent. It didn't knock my socks off but it was pretty ok.

yeah that what it says in the CD..nothing about "Krank" at all..XXX.

In the album anyway..if he used "krank" why wasn';t it mentioned...why...because he wasn't endorsed yet that's why..

I doubt he used them to be honest..

They went with Krank RW100 + Two Channel Recto for the record. He wasn't paid to say so or whatever, he didn't get his Krank for free. They were recording the CD prior to Jeff and Steve even having Krank endorsements. I believe Andy Sneap could make a 15 watt Crate practice amp sound godly. I've every clip he's posted has been impressive. The same junk happened with his POD XT clips that he posted before, everyone kept insisting that they weren't really POD XT's and they were actually something else. So enough with the conspiracy theories, tin foil hat brigade!
