Interesting to hear that you've tried the Crate VC series; not many people seem to know about them!

I have the V16 which is basically the V15 done in light tolex for GC. It's a great amp. The clean sound is just what I was looking for.

Im going to have to say, Laney.

Ive got a $350 Laney 100w AOR Pro Tube from the 80's and I must say, I like it more than my Peavey JSX.

Well, I may have to retract my previous statements about the B52 AT100. I found a brand new website started by B52 users that has some pretty interesting info. I tried a new setup for the amp that someone suggested, and it actually sounds killer. It's really odd, the guys setting involved having the treble and bass all the way off, both the channel volume and master volume dimed, and using the mid control for the volume. Bizarre, but it works, the amp sounds awesome now.
