Re: Amp on it\'s casters....or on the floor?

Well I tried it tonight...I put my cabinet on it's side then I put that on top of the roadcase for my head. It didn't really make a whole lot of difference, but we have some carpet down on the floor at practice, not to mention there are all the other instruments booming right towards me. I might try it next Friday at our show. If nothing more, this way makes it much easier to reach the knobs.

Gimme casters any day. 4x12's are a bitch enough to move without making it harder by having to drag the cab everywhere. The difference is sound is subtle enough that I leave mine on, always.

I've yet to play a stage that's so unlevel that the cab will roll off! That's funny! And rediculous.

I will set the whole half stack on a head road case, though. Just gets the cab closer to ear level and I can turn down a smidge.
