Re: New VHT Deliverance...this is pretty sick tone

Just for shits and giggles here are some famous Blues artists who play/played Les Pauls:

Eric Clapton during Blues Breakers days;
Michael Bloomfield;
Gary Moore on his blues albums;
Peter Green, now owned by Gary Moore.

These are just a few that I picked off of my head, there are plenty others.

I will say that there are more guys slinging ES's and Strats than LPs though.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

Not a bit. Cascading preamp design is to get gain, not channels.
I guarantee you the Deliverance is cascading.

ahh. yeah. well it sounded good. lol.

I guess all of us will just have to wait and hear one in person for ourselves. Again, I loved it at NAMM.

heh heh. I would not sell it to anyone else without your OK first. If I ever sell it I expect you to own it... This way if I want it back I know who to beg and plead too! lol.

Very good playing. Nice tone also. I too want to hear if this amp can rip out some serious Metal, without a pedal or effects. That sounded like there was a little reverb and delay in there? Jack.

Ya know, this clip isn't an offical clip from VHT, is it? It's just something that somebody on Harmony Central posted up.

Nothing official VHT about it....although the guy does do demos for VHT at the NAMM shows....

O.K. - one more clip he posted - this one full on Strat semi dirty Texas style riffing - * NOT METAL* ....the guy has chops and I dig the sounds out of this amp so far...

Very tasty indeed.

That is a great sounding amp and a great player.

I wonder if this was the same guy playing at NAMM at the VHT booth. THey had a blues kat who played a big blues groove. Sounds like him. Anyone know? And that clip sounded better to my ears but it doesn't sound like it is really being driven still. Most of that clip is using the neck pickup too. You can hear him switch towards the end.

I don't think tht amp is being driven anywhere close to waht it's capable of....a friend who got to play one of the demos said it was kind of a plexi on steroids with as much gain on tap as you'll ever need - sans pedals.

You know the deal deal - one mans gain is anothers clean

I wan't to play one of these myself....and yes - this was the guy doing the VHT demos at NAMM

I think he was playing with the volume quite a bit to clean it up or dirty it. However, it was certainly not being driven very hard. The tone was really tasty on the strat clip, I preferred it over the LP clip.
