Shure PG57 is it a good mic?

our band is planning on putting everything through the P A next time we play ...and well ...we dont have the money for big fancy expensive mics....... i was just wondering if these guys... would do the job pretty well..anyone have any experience with em?

Pick up a used SM-57 instead, it will last longer and sound better.
