• the most hotrodded "marshall"?

i know there are several amps out there that are built around the classic hotrodded marshall sound. my question is, which one sounds like the most hotrodded marshall imaginable? i'm talking about unmodded amps here, so no modded marshalls here please.
i'm thinking of the uberschall, as it's often said to be very marshall-like, but hotrodded to the extreme. are there any other amps that are especially built for that marshall on steroids thing?

My JCM900 is a brutal amp. A lot of people say that the 900's sound bad, but to me it sounds great, it can do a variety of things from the Jake E Lee lead sound, to the brutal death metal grind. I was considering getting rid of it, but i changed my mind, i love it too much. Now thats a hotrodded marshall

I have never heard one first hand but I have been told by many that the Stiletto is the one.
BTW.. my Mesa Boogie Mark III Purple Stripe running Simulclass with E34L's and 6L6GC's and ECC83S's is all the hot rodded Marshall I would ever need.

A few people I've spoken to think the Laney AOR circuit is essentially a hot-rodded JCM800. I've never owned or worked on a JCM800, so I can't say whether that's true.

It's certainly not THE most hot-rodded, though.

I play a JCM900 50-watt, dual reverb head, at practice. It's a fine rock amp. It breaks up and honks well but doesn't pump enough lows to classify it as brutal.

Not EL34-y enough. Great amps, just moving away from Marshall and into, well, awesome.

I disagree on that my UL was like a beter version of a Mark IV not really a hot rodded Marshall which I think a Splawn or an XTC does best.

SLO and VHT UL are awesome sounding amps, but really not very "Marshall-y" to my ears.
Someone mentioned the old Laney AOR series and I would have to agree with that one...had an AOR 100 back in the mid-80's and it did the Marshall thing well with more gain and compression.
