I was just checking the Ibanez website and came accross this

http://www.ibanez.com/accessories/spec.asp?m=106&z=y

So Ibanez is finally selling an all Tube Amp!
I havn't seen any reviews yet on this amp
Wondering if you guys know anything about this?
From what I can find it may sell for about 1,000.00 USA

The Speaker Cabinets look good as well

Naw...Vai's an EL34 fan, that comes stock with 6L6's. Looks kinda...ghetto, though. I'd like to try it.

It's called the Thermion. There is a blurb in the holiday 2005 issue of guitar world. It lists for $1,466, so it's not cheap. It's pretty gutsy of them to sell an amp that I assume is made somewhere in Asia, for so much money considering they are not known as an amplifier manufacturer. Gutsy, or perhaps stupid. I saw the Amp selling online for 1,094.00 USA which isn't that bad
I figured it would closer to the B-25 price tho 699.00

It's all about marketing, if they market it well, they can sell anything at any price. And we've seen them done wonders back in the pass with marketing.

BTW, Marty was playing one of them head, and cabs in one of his asian clinic and it sounded pretty nice to me.

My two cents

Read that just last night... kinda ugly, too. Be interesting to hear it.

Eh, no thanks. I'll take the new Carvin V3, though.

I'm amazed at the skill of people here. I wish I had the ability to judge an amp by looking at a pic!

the way they describe it, i have a feeling they actually might have put thought into it and it might sound decent, will it be worth $1100, who knows i will need to try one and see and if i like, look for it used on ebay.
