  • Solo boost from an Intellifex??

Is it possible?? I had one way back but I was using a Carvin Quad X at the time and I didn't need solo boost.

Kind of. Rhythm Cut is a better way to look at it. I've forgotten the specifics, but basically set the output levels of your rhythm patches at a slightly lower level, and your lead patches wide open.

The Intellifex is what i use for solo boost J.

Look in I believe it is in mixer parameter area, "direct" left and right, most presets are stock at like +2? I think, and they go to +6 I believe. I also boost the effected left and right as well of course.

I just set a patch up with the directs boosted to +4, +5 and the effected signal appropriately boosted also. Along with whatever other effects I want (that are available) on that patch. And then MIDI switch to the patch etc for the solos...

      Works fine.

That is one nice thing about the paramtric in the G-Major, you can boost mids a bit or whatever in a lead patch to cut through better.
