Re: Dream Rig

One 1966 JTM 45 / 100, one 1970s Hiwatt DR504, two 1970s hiwatt cabs with 2 fanes & two greenbacks. Any guitar.

Probably pushing the budget a hair, but oh well.

Re: Dream Rig

15 grand? Hot shit, for amps, I'd be happy with 5 grand!

for 15, I'd take a nice 5150II FJAModded for 3 channels, clarity, bias, and back to 5150 MK1 lead specs, a Framus Cobra head, a Bogner Ecstacy, a Dual Rack-tifier, 2 Mesa Traditional cabinets for the Recto and 5150, a Framus Dragon cabinet for the Cobra, and a Bogner cabinet for the XTC.

For 5150, I'd grab the 5150, 2 Mesa trad's, the XTC or Cobra, and save the rest.

Re: Dream Rig

well, i pretty much have my dream rig now. i guess, i'd like the rivera's midi controlled along with a couple of TC2290's and a couple of Eventide harmonizers all controlled in way wherei could just step on a button and my channels and efx would change instantly.

but i'd also like an ENGL savage 120SE with a matching EVM loaded ENGL 4x12 cab.
GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Re: Dream Rig

I'm grabbin a Randall MTS head in a few weeks. I already have the EVH Phase 90. I might wanna grab a delay, maybe the Line 6 DL4 and a Tubescreamer to push the front end to hell. Yah...that's bout it. Very relistic and not insanly expensive. But if I had $15K, hell, why not go for a few Charvels and custom Jacksons and an ESP Explorer.

Pretty much what I have now except for a Boss DD5 instead of the DD6.
