I am loving the XTC and no i got it off ebay, it has the a/ab option plus line out adjustment for each channel, i paid $2600 shipped so that is a pretty good deal considering it would have been around $3500 plus tax for a new one with those options.

yeah...I fell in love with the XTC at Chucks then bought a used dead mint one for $2250.00 about two years ago....you did good. I also have the A/AB option but honestly...I hate it in class A in all settings. I loved the amp from day one but I swear as time passes I appreciate it more and more and actually have found the clean to be really good once you start really spending some time with it. Try diming the gain on the clean channel, switch the CH1 gain boost to hi, and the pre-eq to B1......raise the channel slowly until it is loud as f%ck.......then....enjoy [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Tell you the truth i havent even gotten around to trying just A. I am happy right now with AB so i am staying there for a bit.
