roland cube 60

anyone use this amp modeler? I was looking at one at a local music store, but didn't get a chance to try it out (for sustain, depth, and sound). Is worth trading a avt20 and dist. pedal to get it. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

didn't like it - sounds "boxy" to me. if you want a nice natural warm sound, get a marshall avt150. <drool>

haven't tried the cube 60, but the micro cube is a kick ass little unit.

I have the Cube 30, and IMO it is a kickass little amp.
Go for that trade.

I have one of the orig. Cube 60's and it was sooooo loud and powerful...I built a matching extention cab and I still can't get it past 8! I've had twin's offered to me in trade...but I have refused.....It is very clean (sometimes too clean) and a little "sterile", so I use "outboard" stuff to warm it up! I haven't tried any of the "new ones", but I am sure they are great amps.

Played a 30 a lot and repeatedly at a friend's at it's a DAMN GOOD little beast!
