Fishman Ellipse system

I'm looking at electrifying my Martin D-16GT and the Fishman Ellipse was recommended. Does anyone have one of these or know about them? I'm curious how it would be installed, if it has an equalizer with it, or do you still have to rely on a soundboard with it.

I've seen different models/versions of it also.
