Ooh!! The XXX sounds killer!! Does the JSX have that much gain? Most high gain amps seam to have a buzzy overtone to them, except for my now gone VHT CLX 100. I will try to play them all when I get a chance, I know where a major Peavey dealer is. I may also like the Dual Rectifier. Jack.

Honestly dude, if you've had a VHT before... what didn't you like about it? Those are the TIGHTEST amp's I've ever played; I played a Hundred/CL w/EQ last night for the first time, dear god that amp was cool. Tight, clear, defined, raw, a lead tone to dy for, and no buzz at all.

I sold it becuase I neaded the money. I may look for another one. I beleive the VHT CLX is the best amp out there for tight loud speed metal. Jack.
