Man, I feel reaslly bad for ya man... Just waiting for these deals to come through once you pay is bad enough. Then to get something that isn't what you paid for, and at that amount of money... That has to be a fucked up feeling.

hey clevland do me a favor and take pictures of your amp if you can as much as possible so i have pictures to show ebay what it should look like.

Siggy - You and I have talked a lot about this. I actually bought a brand new Uber last Thursday. If you need any other photos,verification or whatever, let me know. This is exactly why I really am so e-afraid of e-bay. Too many shit heads out there. Keep us informed.

mike please send me photo's. I have dealt alot on ebay, and very rarley does this happen. Anyway i apprciate the help, i will probaly do the new way now or a auction with alot of pictures.

in your browser do a file->save page as...

to save off the auction page + its pics locally on your hard drive before he gets a chance to change the linked to pics...e.g., if he's hosting them on photobucket.

you can then zip up the entire page + subdirectories and use that as a documentation of what was actually offered in the auction.

Thanks, unfortunaly he didnt post any pictures except what is on the webpage. I saved the page and started the process of a complaint. What i need from fellow Uber guys is as many pictures of the amps insides, outside etc.. I would really appreciate it.

Siggs ..by comparing mine to those pics..there is so many discrepancies..I don't even know where to begin..seriously..

I have the original reciept with mine ..it was two months old when I bought it..in 2003.

There is a "symbol" for a serial number located on the back...I'd call Bogner..and see what they say..if you could.

I can tell ya right now ..there is something very WRONG with that piece..and I'm not even talking about the condition ....it just doesn't look like mine in the slightest..back , front..in or out.. [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img]

I wish I could post pics to show you..But I can't.

The pics in the auction page is EXACTLY what my head looks like..the ones you posted..don't even come close..that's a fraud! [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

and there is NO switch to convert to 6550 on mine..if there was..I prolly would!

Yeah i know, i am thinking i am gonna call bogner and find out exactly what this is, it has to be some sort of prototype and if anyone knows he should. The guy is still insisting it is a 2004 even going as far as saying in 2004 the ubershalls were only sold with that kind of grill and he was like sorry i forgot to send tubes, i will send them out. I sent him an email saying i dont know what he is thinking but that is not a 2004 and just hold on to his tubes and refund my money.

He didnt send tubes and i am not gonna use any of my tubes in fear that thing is gonna blow them. That thing is a wreck on the inside and even if it works, i do not want it as i was expecting a 2004 model and that is roughly the year i want, i dont think i would pay $1000 for that thing he sent, who knows what it is.

I had an uber also, and that thing is no way close to it. Like horns said ther is no switch on it to change from one type of tube to another. I know you didnt get what you were supposed to but play it. Who know maybe you have a rare prototype that sounds killer. If it were me I would get my money back just for the principal. Call Bogner and ask for Shawn.

It's an Uber, but, Definitely an early prototype IMO...

It could be an early model which i think it most likely is, though it's not what you wanted. The fucker didn't even send tubes so i would try to get his arse on the phone, if not, see what ebay can do.
