flextone hd vs. flextone 2 hd

How similar are they? Can the 1st version be patched up to a 2nd version like a vetta?

From what i understand the original flextone had problems with there power sections blowing up every now and then, ask noodles about it. I have the flextone 2 head and might be selling if you are intersted. As to the patching i dont believe you can patch it up successfully but i could be wrong.

Ok cool, glad I asked, there's a Flextone 1 on da bay and it's pretty cheap but if they have probs and possibly can't be patched. that explains the price.

It might be able to be patched, i am not sure, however like i said i have heard the power section tends to take a dump on you and it costs alot to get fixed.
