  • 5150 and G -Major

I would like to control a 5150 and a G Major (that I'm getting soon) simultaneously.
I'm looking more towards the Digital Music Ground Control if it will work.
I do have a Digitech Control One, can I use that in any way?
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Control One will work fine.

Really, I can tap 1 button and go from clean chorus to, dirty delay?

Absolutely. The G-major will change the channels on the 5150 and change patches at the same time.

I'd recommend a Rocktron MidiMate... Seriously. Been there with the DMC GC, and have a one that died (three switches went bad, reboots and the display crapped out) at three months old under little to no abuse. The Midimate is the more reliable choice. Four years and not a glitch.

I have the same setup. 5150 Full Stack wtih G-Major,422a, and an ART X-15. I paid $75 bucks shipped for my X-15, they usually go for less than $100 on ebay. With the x-15 you can program up to 10 effects, switch between 10 presets at a time, and it has two expression pedals.

Here is one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ART-X-15-ULTRAFOOT-X...1QQcmdZViewItem
                    Damn, I love this Interweb.
