I hear the Tone Tubby speaker is also supposed to be amazing. $$$, but awesome.

I own 25 watt green backs (can'ty take the wattage), 75 watt (sizzly/brittle, nice lows end) and 30 watt vintage celestions ( weird sizzle I hear and soft low end), and the EVs my friend has in a 2 x12 cab, are just awesome in comparision.

Just wish they werent so stupid expensive...

I've got 8 4x12 cabs, and Most of them, have old Rola, and pre-rola Green/Grey/Cream/Black backs in them. I've also got some reissues, and there is a difference in tone. I'm sure the difference is something that some people like, and some people hate, but there is a definite difference, I don't know if I'd call it a drastic difference, but there's a difference.

Personally, I prefer the older ones, and in particular, the 55hz version of the G12H-30. I've heard that the new ones they're making for the handwired cabs kick ass, but other than that, none of the new celestions can touch them. That's my ears though, you might hate them.
