I keep hearing these are great units, and I'm still looking for a harmonizer I can live with and NOT spend a fortune

Or was it $50 down the toilet?

yeah, and they cost more than 32.00!!! the headaches alone would cost more than that in advil alone while you try to teach the other guitarist their parts...

I haven't seen that model, but I have a 33B 3-voice Harmony Machine that is pretty good. The harmonized notes sound very Digitechy, and the effects suck, but cranked through a nice amp it does the job. I paid about $80 for mine.

Yeah, but this learns and plays the new riff instantly. And sometimes the rhythm guitarist needs to be playing the background riff for the song to have that magic.

Let us know how that works out, Newc, I've been thinking of a similar investment myself...

                  Re: Did I do good?

Cool score! If you don't like it, let me know. I've been looking for one. Been getting tired of my boss harmonist pedal and having to lean over and turn the damn scale/key knob at gigs. The boss pedal works great, but for live use it's a bit of a pain in the ass.

However, I use mine to play harmonies on night ranger tunes, whitesnake (is this love) and most importantly, a lower octave on the bass/guitar thing on shyboy. Our keyboard player/bassist can't hang, so the pedal does it for us.

                  Pete

for $32 even if it sucks you can certainly sell it again for that or a bit more.
