Posted this question on another site and haven't gotten any feedback yet. So far I have lear5ned that it "may" be a JCM800 combo, but no proof as of yet.
I love my Boogie, but I wanted a Marshall so I could nail some classic rock tones. Thing is, I don't need or want a big old 50/100 watt head or combo, so I was looking at getting into something closer to a 30 watt combo and found this thing on ebay. It's an Artist 4203 combo. I have never heard one of these and have zero idea what it is going to sound like. Will I be able to nail Schenker/Blackmore/etc tones with this thing? Does anyone out there in Jackson land have any experience at all with these models? Any and all thoughts appreciated.
