I have a Marshall. Is it realistic to expect all your guitars to sound good on one amp/eq/pedal setting? I have Les Pauls, strats, and a couple of Suhrs and GMWs, so it's a pretty wide mix of stuff. I am trying to find one amp setting that I can just leave alone, and just roll the volume and tone knobs accordingly for the tone and distortion that I want. I don't mind turning on/off the occasional stomp box for variety as well, I just want one setting.
Also, is it like a tube amp to sound great on a setting one day, and come back the next with the exact same gear and go, "Crap, that sounds horrible! What was I thinking?"
Thanks in advance!
