Re: effects for spicing up dive bombs?
one of them distortion feedbacker pedals would be cool too.
oh, and an octave box. hit your low 'E' with both octaves dimed on a boss octave box - that rules. the only problem is having your speakers reconed.I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

the old trick is a whammy pedal. start a dive bomb 2 octives higher and as you dive the bar, roll your foot and bring it down with the bar. thats the old satch and via trick.

Digital delay. Set it to around 420ms or you can set it for a doubler.
Stereo Chorus. This will also fatten up a dive bomb.
Reverb also adds body to whammy bar stuff.

Re: effects for spicing up dive bombs?
Two digital delays set up in a chain. One delays the first signal, from the guitar, and the second delays the first. Dive the low E to the point where it strikes the pickup. This will give you the Steve Stevens Ray Gun sound. Of course, Steve uses a Ray Gun now over his pickup...but in the old days it was a bank of Lexicons and some innovation.
MikeSleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.
