G-Major operation question

I thought you could preview the presets just by scrolling through them and not actually having to select it. Mine isn't doing that though, I hear the previously selected preset even after having scrolled through a dozen others. Am I doing something wrong? I suspect it is operator error on my part.

When you get to the one you want you have to push the knob in to select the program
