the description isn't very informative...unfortunately.
it's said to be a 3 channel pitbull classic head, loaded with KT88 tubes.
well, the VHT homepage isn't really the best, so can anybody here tell me anything about that amp? can it do metal, what's the 3 channel layout like (clean, crunch, lead? voicings? how brutal can the crunch (if it is a crunch channel [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) get etc)...basically, can it do thrash metal yes or no? [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

the seller's living only 1h away from here, so local pickup won't be an issue (actually that's why i even care about this head...), but i don't know jack about VHT...

It looks to me to be a VHT CLX 100 without the Graphic EQ option. I had one with the Graphic EQ, but without the Reverb as both were options. Super great amp, but very tight with no sag at all. If this one has 3 channels, it is a CLX.Super high gain on the Lead channel, marshall like on the rythim and a very nice clean channel, superb effects loop. Jack.
