• TINY guitar amps

im doing a school independent study project type thing where I made a guitar, and now i think it would be kinda fun to make an amp too.

Heres the question: What are some REALLY small amps (similar to the rockman, because ive heard that is pretty good), that would be fun to try and build on my own, because it would be nice to have something that is SUPER tiny, yet sounds pretty decent.

    Anybody got any idears?

The Marshall MS-2 mini amp is pretty cool.

Smokeys are probably the smallest. I have the full stack version of the MS-2, it's pretty decent sounding.

              My thoughts exactly.

I borrowed my friends today, and i took it home, and plugged just my guitar into it.

"hmm, kinda bright and brittle, but hey, its tiny."

Then I plugged it into my Carvin 4x12 with Celestions. DAMN! this thing ROCKS. I think im gonna get one for my pedalboard, as a backup head

You can get the 386 op amp for this thing at Radio Shack, and probably all the parts you need. build it on perfboard and you're rockin'!
