Re: Favorite effect or pedal?

Delay, but has to have tap tempo. I don't see how anyone can just dial a delay to a certain point and use it for every song.

I pretty much use the same setting for everything.
350ms, 35% level and 35% feedback and it works fine.

I am a 420ms man myself. I very rarely tap tempo.

Glad it works for you guys, I couldn't imagine doing that. How do you keep it from just making your sound really muddy? There have to be several song tempos where your delays come in off the beat and just make your mix mud.

Re: Favorite effect or pedal?

I dial the delay so it would be more of an "ambience" (kinda similar to reverb) rather than typical delay-echo. It just makes the sound a little bit "wet", I can't stand dry sound (specially when playing leads).

Probably my MI Audio Blues Pro pedal. It sounds absolutely killer into my THD Flexi-50... excuse me... I have to go plug in

Another delay guy here. I play bass too, and I'm pretty much effects free for bass, but I couldn't live without my tech21 bassdriver di.

I asked my wife which of my effects she thought sounded the best....she said the OFF switch.

SD-1

I'll put money on it being THE most common pedal. Take a survey.

The BOSS SD-1 just plain kicks ASS! I have been using that pedal since the late 80's. I also use the GE-7. Those 2 pedals make Marshall's sound just that much better.
