My very first amp was a tiny 12w Randall RG12M.
It sounds terrible.
BUT, I suspect thats because of the cheap little speaker.
I was thinking about chopping it in half, and making a miniature head out of it, hopefully it would be something I would care to use sometimes for fun rather than the ugly box I dont like to look at tucked behind the guitar stand
I can do this pretty easy, the only problem I can see would be speaker ohms.
I dont know offhand what the speaker it has in it is rated for (but I could get out my multimeter and figure it out) but I was wondering. . .does it matter?
I remember vaguely hearing something about solidstates not really needing to match impedence.
Is it going to be a problem? Im usually pretty good at stuff like this, but Im stumped this time.
Thanks.
