  • Traded for a Cube 30

Finally got rid of my MG100DFX. I must say it was the very worst purchase I have ever made in my life. No matter what I did I could not get a decent sound out of it. I traded it for a Cube 30 and a JB 59 pickup. I really am impressed with the Cube as a practice amp. Should have bought one and saved myself the $200 difference 2 years ago. LOL.

It's an insanely good practice amp!
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

I got a microcube for Christmas and it's great. I highly recommend it.

+4. The best home practice amp I ever owned.

I have an orig. cube 60 (from the 70' or 80's - I can't remember - Ya know its the second thing to go!), and I build a matching cab which I put an old 12"Jenson that I took out an old fender bandmaster - and it is light and LOUD ! I have had guys offer to trade me their twins and a laney for it. My little brother uses it for a PA at one of his casuals. I have heard and read about the new ones...they sound like I might need to go back to school before I buy one...a little techy for me....as I kind of like to just "plug in and play" !
