I am wondering if I should purchase a line mixer for my guitar rack. The main components do (and or will) consist of the following units:
Furman PL-8
Shure Wireless
Korg DTR-1
Marshall JMP-1
Marshall JFX-1
TC Electronics 1210 (Chorus/Flange unit)
Digitech TSR-24S
MXR Flanger Pedal
BBE 422
Hush IICX
Ground Control CGX unit
Marshall 9100
I have been doing some reading on the Custom Audio Electronics web site and what what I gather a line mixer is pretty much essential to any good rig in that there will be no drop outs between patches and that the unit will run in series rather than the parallel method that I am used to.
Is this total overkill or will it make a sonic difference?
