Framus Cab good deal?

Ok..i originally was gonna get a splawn 4/12 cab..but just the other day i walk into a guitar shop and talk to the store manager who tells me he doesnt plan on getting a framus dragon head in any time soon so he wants to sell the cab... he said he would sell it to me for 650 brand spankin new.....so my question is....for a 125 bucks cheaper...should I just go for the Framus...I use a powerball and am looking for the best sound i can get..? is 650$ a Better deal

The Splawn will cost you like 225 more with the same speakers.

I'm biased, but I feel that V30's are the best speakers for metal. Just make sure it sounds good with your head before buying!

Sounds good, I've tried the Framus Cobra w/ cab and it is a quality piece. Why don't you bring in your PB head and try it out?

Yes. I feel that this is one amp where it really, really shines with V30's.

alrighty...well my powerball is at home in Montana..because I was afraid of having a cab in my dorm room here in denver..since its loud as hell ..but since ive had to put up with with a shitload of Rap. im gonna pay them all back.Muhahahaa!! so i will have my powerball shipped down here..and then i will go try her out...i just wanted to know if $650 is a deal i shouldnt pass up?

Brand new? I'd do it. I see them used and beat to shit for 500 all the time around here. (Distributor for SoCal is a 4 minute drive from my house)

Ask Derek at Rocksolidamps.com what his price is for a new one and that should tell you if $650 is a good deal. He has really good prices on all his equipment.
