Which Alesis FX Rack to get?

OK guys, I'm looking for a FX unit to put in the rack with my newly aquired MP-1 and was looking at the old Alesis units. I see Alex Skolnik used a Quadraverb once upon a time. What's the best to go for? Quadraverb, midiverb, microverb, quadraverb GT, quadraverb 2? There are so many, also there an Alesis Akira that I can get new, are these any good. Thanks for any input guys. Don't want to spend a lot.

I used to use a couple different models of the quadraverb and I liked all of them. I used them for a guitar rig and for recording effects. I also used the microverb but iirc the quadraverb had more and better sounds but it has been a while. I don't know anything about thier newer models.

I have a quadraverb gt I bought many moons ago. Still one of my favorite units.

Is the GT much better than the standard Quadraverb?

To me,not really that much of a difference.Either one is a good unit...............

The quadraverb 2 is much better sounding than the rest. That being said, get a TC electronics M1
