Tascam DP-01

Hey guys, i'm thinking of going out and buying one of these today but i need to know something.

I don't want a digital recorder than doesn't allow me to make drum tracks to my songs, so i don't want to have to write a song around some one elses drum tracks. Can this thing do that?

I don't think the Tascam has a drum machine in it. It seems like the only recorders that do are the Zoom and Boss units.

No it doesn't have a drum machine. I have the one with the CD Burner on it and effects, it's a nice unit.
