Not cheap, and I never tried it through a JSX, but I like the Fulltone OCD. Awesome distortion pedal and adds to my Dual Rectifier rather than take over it

MXR ZW-44"Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is. ":JOSEY WALES

Re: Suggest me a good boost pedal for my JSX
Here are some choices. All of these WILL work great.
Ibanez TS9DX
MXR ZW-44
DOD 250
DOD YJM308
Keeley modded SD-1
Maxon OD808
Twisteramps has a modded Ibanez TS7 for sale in the classifieds that would work perfectly for you. They have very nice internals. I have worked on several of them. Nice pedal.
MXR Distorion + with the gain dialed way down. Mine works great.

Z. Vex Super Hard On is the best that I have heard.
MXR Micro Amp is cool too.
These are true "boost" pedals that simply slam the front end of your amp a bit harder without adding color to the tone.
Most people have been recommending overdrive/distortion pedals that will definitely color your tone, like any of the TS-808/TS-9 clones will add a mid hump, etc.
