    hey has anyone had a chance to jam thru one of those valveking 100watters that are all tube? im kinda lookin into one. cuz the price seems pretty sweet

        I got a pretty badass sound out of it with my Ran RR emg 81/85 sounds quite balsy imo...

        There are probably better amps out there but for the price i dont think you will find any amp that comes close to sounding quite as good imo....

        it's always good to try one yourself.....

          On the contrary for me. I got a very decent metal sound on it.

            I hate using words like broootal and crushing but thats pretty kmuch the only words I can think of to describe the valvekings, its kinda liek the 5150's but has its own sound, plus its gota clean channel not a rhythm....

            They cant keep em in in one of my locals...

            I'm probably going to save fora rectoverb head though....

              Seem to be a good deal. Biggest problem so far is excessive hum in many of the units and cheap speaker in the combos
