hey im pretty new to posting on the forum but ive been kinda watching and reading for a while now so i figured id go ahead and post. Any way im looking in to getting a wah pedal and was wondering what some of the favorites are.

I like my Bad Horsie Wah..but I hear the Bad Horsie 2 is a great improvement.

I don't which is best, but I've had many. My best so far is a Dunlop Hendrix FUZZ WAH, you get grind & wah - either or......

yeah the sounds on the site for the morley soumded like they had a wide range of sweep.

Teese RMC3. I've never considered another since getting it. Also, it can be tuned with a bunch of internal switches to sound like pretty much any wah ever made.

Teese: http://www.realmccoycustom.com/ These are not for everybody, though. Some claim they sound like God, others say, 'God, these suck'. The one I've heard, the special order 'Wheels of Fire', does 'White Room' perfectly, which is no small feat.

If you are looking for one that gets the tones you expect right off the bat, it's the Bad Horsie. I am not a wah user, but I could sure fake it with the Morley.

A get Dunlop Cry Baby, I'm play'n with my Zakk one now but, I like my old original GCB-95 too and would love to get it modded by jgcable.

What's the difference between the Thomas crybaby and the Dunlops? I think I read somewhere they bought them out a long time ago but I haven't played any of the new wahs - and by new I mean made in the last 30 years [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I have 2 choices:

Bone stock Morley Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah

Modded Dunlop GCB-95 Cry Baby. Mods include:
True bypass
Buffer removal
Midrange boost
Vocal Mod

I think that Fasal Inductor mod isn't worth it.

I really like my Budda Wah. Very vocal like quality to it. Once I tried it I gave up my Cry Baby and haven't tried too many others.
