• MArshall MG DFX models

I'm thinking about getting a MG 50 or 100 DFX off of ebay. Anyone used these? I don't play out but would like the flexibility of an amp that could go public. I don't really need the effects ( I have a pretty complete Boss pedalboard ) but these look like very versatile amps.
thanks!!

I would highly recommend you pay just a bit more and get an AVT50 with the tube preamp. I just got one of those and it kicks all kinds of ass.

the MG series are the cheapest amps Marshall makes and not very well thought of, at least that is what I gather from here.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

I have a 50 DFX that I got a few years ago. Decent amp for the money but there is no FX loop and it is solid state. If I had it to do over again I would have tried to find a tube amp.

But all in all it's a good amp.
