Parametric EQ

Looking at getting one very soon, but I don't know what one
to get, what about a graphic eq? I would be using it along
side my Mesa Mark IV.
I only want to spend around $200.
So I’m turning to my JCF bros for some help.

I really like the Boss pq-4 but it's a pedal. It's very quiet and will give you a lot of control. It's also out of production but you can find them easily enough on ebay for ~$100. They had a half rack, the pq-50 I think, that works well also but is harder to find.

Rane PE15 is a good one.
Parametric is much better than graphic. Especially for a Mark IV. You need to dial in those in between frequencies. Only a parametric will do that.

ART Tube EQ would be a good choice, although it is NOT quiet. It's discontinued, but can be found for under $100 used.

I use the Rane PE 15 too. It does a good job.

I think I'm going to try a Rane, they seem to be a good
price and they are in rack mount form.
There is a Rane SP-15, the seller claims that is over all
the same as the PE-15 just higer quality components, how true is this?
