Marshall Guv'nor

I thought maybe it could give my Peavey Ultra a Marshall tone for rhythm or just use it as an overdrive for lead.

The "vintage" model, the one in the black casing is supposed to sound very good. I've never played one myself but i have a buddy who owns one and swear by it. He even uses it to boost his Marshall DSL50.

The newer model, the one in the grey/chrome casing is part of the Marshall pedal serie. Reviews say they don't sound as good as the vintage one. I own the Marshall Jackhammer from that serie. It sounds good but can add a bit too much bass. Construction of the pedal is good and built to last.

i used the JH-1 before (jackhammer1) it had a nice tone to it, the guv'nor i never got to try.
