Anyone ever play a Kitty hawk quattro preamp?

Just wondering how these thing are? They look like great build quality. How much gain do they have? What can they be compared to tone wise?

One was sold in the classifieds a few weeks, maybe a month ago. You might look that up and email the buyer and seller for info. I know they said Reb Beach used to use one and I remember the ads in the mags for that back in the day.

Yep, I bought it. had one back in the day. All four channels sound great. If I get a chance later I'll post some clips of it through a marshall valvestate 80/80 poweramp.

They have incrediblely cheap pot in them that are impossible to find or replace.

Great sounding preamp. In my opinion it benefits greatly from being used with a tube power amp. Gain possibilities are all things 80's and maybe early 90's. Today's "modern" downtuned rhythm sounds ain't gonna happen though. Soaring, sustainly, guitar hero lead tone, NO PROBLEM though!
