upgraded this weekend. definatley a huge improvement in sound for the direct recording end.

and i'm so glad to have my modern hi gain sim back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

through the amp's fx return the tone is more beefy. definately a thicker sound that it was. seems to have more gain too. still havent tried my passive guitars yet.

Crap, sounds like they made some great improvments. Kinda wish I didn't sell mine now, I'm interested in trying it out. Anyone who has it, post a review of what you find and if you like it a lot more or not.

Awesome! I got my X88R back! That was one of the best tones on the 2.3. I really dig the Orange too. I think I'll tweak with that one awhile first. I haven't tried any of the wah's or the bender yet. So glad I bought the XTL. Now I just need the Metal Pack and I'm all set.
