Marshall JMP 1

I just bought the marshall jmp 1, I have one question should run it thru the effects loop of my amp or should it go straight to the input of the amp.

I`ve tried both and they sound very different, any suggestions?

into the effects loop return. you want to skip the preamp stage of your amplifier.

Yeah, that's generally the way to go. But if you think it sounds better going through the preamp, then by all means, stick with that. Sometimes chaining pres can sound pretty good.

Yup, he used an ADA MP-1 into the front of a Marshall JCM 900. I use the same gear but go into the effects return as it's really noist through the front.
